Reading Notes: Nice, easy quick memoir. In it, Byron reflects on his childhood-to-adulthood journey, from struggling with illiteracy to becoming a premier network journalist. He documents each stage of his life, including reflections on college and his early career as a journalist. Best part for me is him reflecting on his time as a journalist on the ground covering 9/11 as it happened, and his time reporting in Afghanistan. Definitely a great story of personal triumph and perseverance mixed with focus.
