Merkeba - "A Tribute to Jonathan Jackson"

My first zine "A Tribute to Jonathan Jackson" is out now via Black Power Books.

This book is dedicated to Jonathan Jackson, the young writer and militant who lost his life on August 7th 1970 while demanding the freedom of his brother, acclaimed prison writer and activist George Jackson, while George was facing death row as part of the Soledad Brothers.

In this book, I compile the letters that Jonathan wrote to his brother George in prison, as well as posthumous thoughts on Jonathan from George's Blood In My Eye. Also included in original poetry from me.
